SAMPARC CENTRES :
BHAJE BALGRAM:
The SAMPARC Balgram at Bhaje today holds 10 Balsadans. This center concentrates on those children who are weak and slow in grasping and retention capacity and has 100 such children.
POYNAD BALGRAM:
The SAMPARC Balgram at Poynad is located in Raigad district with 70 children since 1999.
SHEL-PIMPALGAON BALGRAM:
The Shel-Pimpalgaon Balgram is located in the picturesque environment of Chakan town, since 2000. Presently it holds 40 children.
ANJAR BALGRAM:
SAMPARC started its Children Home in 2001 for all those unfortunate victimized children of the devastating earthquake in Kutch district in Gujarat and presently holds 50 children.
BHAMBARDE SCHOOL AND HOSTEL:
This is the first of its kind with a hostel facility in a remote village in Mulshi Taluka, which provides good facilities to more than 120 children.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTRE:
A Vocational Training Centre has been started at Bhaje Balgram, which holds almost 680 school dropouts. They are trained in many fields like welding, plumbing, electrician, tailoring, carpentry, etc. Many small rural business activities such as bee keeping and Bamboo Cane work etc are also introduced to make them self-reliant.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME:
Many steps have been taken to enhance the Women Empowerment Programme. Many modules have been arranged for health of women and post-natal care and many Balwadis have been formed where emphasis is laid on hygiene and sanitation and women are encouraged to start their small savings on a regular basis. About 86 women’s saving groups run in 26 villages surrounding Bhaje village. |
