| Shel-Pimpalgaon Balgram was started in the year 1999 for the care and accommodation of 40 orphan children. The purpose of starting a Children’s Home here was because the village is known for its agricultural activities and close to Chakan, a growing industrial place where children can find employment in the industrial setup and also they will have first hand information about agriculture when they grow up. Shel-Pimpalgaon centre is one of the centres of SAMPARC organisation working for the care of orphans and children of sex workers. |

The place is about 160 km. from Mumbai and 40 km from Pune. The proposed New International Airport is about 15 km. from the balgram
The project started in a small rented house. A donor supported partly for a piece of land and building to have our own constructed house for the children in the year 2000. SAMPARC constructed a building with an area of 2500 sq.ft. area having four rooms, a common passage hall, and one housemaster room. Two of the rooms have two small kitchens. It was realized that the centre needs a separate kitchen, dining hall and storerooms to support the 40 children. |

| It is requested to support the construction of the kitchen and its dinning hall. The dinning hall will be named by the name of the donor.
Donation Highlights :
- The name of the individual or organisation that gives the donation shall be engraved on the building of the kitchen and dining room of the balgram
- List of partial donations and names of donors shall be exhibited on the wall.
- Any individual or organisation giving donation above Rs. 5 lakhs shall be honored with ‘SAMPARC BHUSHAN”
- Donation to Samparc is exempted under Income Tax u/s 80G No. PN.T/80G/s-390/2000-2005. (50% Tax exemption)
